Here are 3 things people love about our apartment:

  1. The location is simply outstanding. Beaumont Quarter is located little more than a stone's throw away from the hustle and the bustle of the city, yet tucked away in the best fringe location Auckland has to offer. We are isolated from the noise of the central city, however it's just a short 5-15 minute walk to Wynyard Quarter, Ponsonby and much of the CBD. Our guests frequently comment on how quiet Beaumont Quarter is given its central location.

  2. The layout of this apartment with bedrooms on either side of the living area and two bathrooms has been very popular with both families and colleagues travelling for work. The bar leaner serves multiple purposes, either extra kitchen bench space, a dining table or somewhere to place your laptop. The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard with new modern contemporary furniture. High ceilings and an abundance of natural light through the east-facing floor-to-ceiling ranch sliders make this a light and airy, spacious apartment. Guests frequently mention the beautiful views of the city skyline that can be seen from the lounge and both bedrooms.

  3. Guests frequently leave reviews about how comfortable the Sleepmaker Posture Align bed is when combined with the high thread count sheets and the wool all-seasons duvet. Lisa from Mangawhai said 'The beds were fantastic. Just bliss when you put your head on the pillow and snuggled in those luxurious linens. I have to say this because so often in NZ those that rent private accommodation do not make this a priority.' The bed in the master bedroom is super king size, and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. We can also split super king bed into two long single beds (203cm long x 91cm wide) which can provide an option for good friends or children.

Here are 3 things to consider before renting our apartment:

  1. The apartment is in a residential area and close-knit community, so no parties are permitted in the apartment at all times during your stay. This applies to all residents, so ensures you will have a peaceful and quiet stay yourself.

  2. Even though private and elevated, the apartment is located in a central city neighbourhood, so you will be surrounded by buildings and other residents. That’s not a downside, since the neighbours are generally a very considerate group of people, but you will be aware of their presence on occasion. Most people actually love it, since you will have a chance to meet locals and quickly strike up a conversation. Live like a local amongst locals and you will love your stay.

  3. Living in a close-knit community requires some basic rules to make things easier. We ask that you abide by these rules and that you are a considerate neighbour. By all means, live and enjoy yourself, just be mindful of noise and loud music both inside and out and you’ll have a fabulous time.

We have furnished this recently renovated apartment with new modern contemporary furniture.

KITCHEN

Our fully equipped kitchen includes chef-quality stainless steel gourmet cookware, a cast iron frying pan, and good quality knives. We've supplied a Nespresso machine and milk frother for coffee aficionados, and a classic teapot so you can brew the perfect cup of tea.

LOUNGE

Sit back and relax in style on the comfortable leather sofa while watching Netflix on the 50" 4K Smart TV or listening to some music on the stereo system (Bluetooth, CD player or radio). The wifi is connected to an unlimited high-speed 100 Mbps fibre internet connection.

BEDROOMS

Both bedrooms are roughly the same size. The master bedroom is slightly larger and has a super king size bed (that can be split into two long singles on request) and a large ensuite, the slightly smaller bedroom has a queen size bed.

All beds come with wool all-seasons duvets, high thread count sheets and a selection of soft, medium, hard and feather pillows. The large closets are stocked with clothes hangers.

We can split the super king bed into two long single beds (203cm long x 91cm wide) which can provide an option for good friends or children.

THE VIEW

The lounge and both bedrooms offer expansive views of the Auckland city skyline. A cafe table and stools on the balcony offer a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

LAUNDRY

The laundry includes both a washing machine and a dryer, and we supply EcoStore washing powder.

GETTING AROUND

Our place is less than a 15 minutes walk or a $5-10 Uber ride to much of the central city, including Westhaven, Wynyard Quarter, Viaduct Harbour, Queen St, and Ponsonby.

If you want to catch a bus, the CityLink, InnerLink and OuterLink all have stops nearby.

PARKING

Free secure parking for is provided in the car park space located below the apartment building. There is direct access to the apartment via lift (no stair climbing required)

There are plenty of bicycle racks located in the front lobby as well as inside the secure parking building.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Split bed (one off $25). We can split the super king size bed into two long single beds.

Portacot (additional $6/day). We can provide Jolly Jumper Roma 2-in-1 portacots that have both bassinet and cot level. This model has passed safety tests and is recommended by Consumer NZ. We'll also provide cots sheets and blankets.

Guest access

Access to the recreation centre including gym, pool, spa and sauna is from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Interaction with guests

We will do our best to greet you at check-in. We also live in Beaumont Quarter, so we can pop over and provide assistance if required.
